about me
Hi, I'm Vivian Gietz (she/her)
Fractional coo for nonprofits | Vancouver, BC
I went fractional because the nonprofit sector kept showing me the same problem over and over — and eventually I experienced it firsthand.
I've spent almost a decade working inside these organizations — as an operations director, executive assistant, communications coordinator, and grant writer — securing $400K+ in grants along the way.
I believe creativity and structure work best together. Colour, design, and expression aren't just extras — they shape how teams think, communicate, and solve complex problems. This is why my work sits at the intersection of operations and communications.
As a bi woman, my work is shaped by intersectional feminism and a belief in organizations that lead with care, equity, and integrity — not just in words, but in practice.
Outside of work I'm a nail artist, cat and dog mom, and frequent beach-goer.
Meet the Team
teddi (she/her)
Chief peskiness Officer (CpO)
Teddi takes a very paws-on approach to workplace operations. She specializes in sitting on keyboards, eating my desk snacks, and bringing a little chaos to every campaign. If you see a typo, blame Teddi. She insists on helping.
Baby (she/her)
Chief Cuteness Officer (CcO)
Baby specializes in scheduled snoozes and big-picture purring. She brings a steady, no-nonsense energy to the team and reminds us all to take breaks and respect boundaries (unless treats are involved).
sedona (she/her)
head of security
sedona plays an active role in office security and emotional support. she specializes in guarding the door, supervising breaks, and maintaining high morale throughout the workday. any sudden barks are part of her ongoing risk assessment.
